Environmental Advisory Committee
The purpose of the Environmental Advisory Committee is to report to and advise the Board of Supervisors of Montgomery Township on various environmental matters. The Committee shall identify environmental problems and recommend plans and programs to the Supervisors for the promotion and conservation of natural resources and for the protection and improvement of the quality of the environment within its territorial limits. The Committee may also address other matters of an environmental nature as directed by the Supervisors.
The EAC is helping Montgomery Township evaluate the possibility of banning certain single-use plastics at the point of sale of businesses. For more information about this initiative, click here.
