Common concerns include:
-
Accumulation of rubbish and debris
-
Grass and weed maintenance
-
Sidewalk maintenance and clearance
Sidewalk Snow Removal:
-
Private sidewalks (including those in side and rear yards) must be cleared within 24 hours after snowfall.
-
A 30-inch-wide pathway must be maintained.
Drainage & Stormwater Management
Residents should be mindful when managing drainage on their property:
-
Do not redirect water onto neighboring properties, sidewalks, or streets.
-
Ensure that pipes and drains do not create a nuisance on any public sidewalks, streets, or neighboring properties.
-
Illegal Discharges: It is illegal to connect downspouts, floor drains, and sump pumps to the sanitary sewer system.
