Temporary Burn Ban Effective October 28, 2024

Montgomery Township has issued a temporary burn ban effective 10/28/2024. This ban will last 30 days and prohibits open fires, including recreational fire pits and fireworks. All township-issued recreational fire permits will be revoked during the prohibition.

 The ban is due to the extended period of dry conditions affecting Montgomery Township and the potential for uncontrollable fire spread and wildfires.
