Montgomery Township Secures $210K Grant for Enhanced Pedestrian Safety on Stump Road

Montgomery Township is thrilled to announce that we've received a $210,986 grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority's Multimodal Transportation Fund. This funding will allow us to install a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) on Stump Road, significantly improving pedestrian safety.

This new RRFB will create a safe walking path between the Village Shopping Center and the Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center, enhancing the walkability of our area. The project also includes adding sidewalks along Stump Road, further contributing to our commitment to pedestrian safety.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Senator Maria Collett for her unwavering support in making our roads safer and more accessible for both pedestrians and drivers.
